Benefits Overall you will notice a higher level of detail, texture, focus, superior sound stage, dynamics, musicality, and transparency.
What does that mean? We use as few components in our networks as possible. This allows the cleanest signal to be passed to your speakers. Rest assured this does not change the frequency response of the speaker or the overall character.
Texture – all of the ‘inner’ details of each instrument comes across clearly. The ‘live’ feel comes across so well because the subtleties that are normally lost are finally present. The more revealing the overall presentation is, the more convincing it is.
Focus – We tightly match our components. While most components are 5 or even 10% tolerance, we use only 5% or less tolerance components and then we hand match them so that each pair of networks is 500 to 1000% better than the stock crossover.
Sound stage – moves the sound stage from being within the confines of the speaker and moves it out, up, and behind the speaker. This helps recreate the sense of space and volume of the original performance.
Dynamics – Our networks use high quality Mills resistors and Alpha-Core copper foil inductors. This means no masking of top end detail, no muddled midrange and more convincing slam on the low end. There is a lot of techno mumbo jumbo about the why’s of this and it would be too much to detail here. Contact Us if you want more info.
Transparency – The ability for the speakers to remove themselves from the performance. Our networks enhance this ability due to their magnetically correct layout, point to point build and superior quality components.
Musicality – The best part and why we are all here. Everything your speakers used to do they will do better with Ninja Master networks and upgrades.
Components
Ninja Master networks utilize the very best components available. If you want more in-depth information on these components, visit our components page.
Layout The component layout of a Ninja Master network is carefully chosen to provide the shortest signal path possible while also ensuring magnetic field contamination is keep to a minimum or non-existant. For more information on why this is important, visit our layout information page.
Additional Upgrades We don't stop with crossover network upgrades. A speaker's final sound quality is very much a sum of its parts. The crossover network design, the crossover network parts quality, the cabinet, internal wiring, drive units and binding posts. All of these items contribute to the end product - of which the goal is to simulate a live event with perfect accuracy. Click the options info tab above for more information!

Ninja Built versus DIY
We offer kits that are professionally built by the Ninja and his minions. This way you know every connection is correct and every component is tested. These are our easiest to install kits.
You will need a Philips Head Screwdriver, 3mm or 1/8" Allen wrench and Hot glue/hot glue gun, super glue or like. You may need other tools depending on your wire connection preference.
If you are adventurous, we offer DIY (Do It Yourself) kits. These kits come with all of the parts of a professionally built kit but you assemble the network yourself. A diagram, photos and schematic are included so you don't have to figure out the layout. The ability to read a basic electronic circuit schematic is not required for a DIY build but it is very helpful!
You will need a soldering iron, heat gun or hair dryer with high setting, needle nose pliers, hot glue gun & glue or Liquid nails and wire cutters. Plus, what is listed above for the install of your built boards.
Upgrade your Cabinet
Your speaker cabinet should never 'talk' along with the music. Want to know
why this happens and what you can do to stop it? Read all about the benefits
of upgrading your speaker cabinet with NoRez
and Black Hole 5.
Choose
your Wiring Connections
We offer three different ways you can install your new crossovers depending on your skill and comfort level.
1. (Ninja recommended) Full wiring replacement with IT-001 Ninja wire. We include extra Vampire or Cardas silver solder to attach the wires to the drivers and binding posts.
2. Wires long enough to tie into the existing wires coming from the drivers and binding posts and copper connectors with color coded shrink tubing. Simply crimp the copper connectors over the wires and heat the shrink tubing for a professional finish.
3. Our easiest solution - wires long enough to reach the existing wires and includes wire nuts. Screw the wire nuts over the connections and you are done.
Skills Required Be sure to download the install instructions on the 'description' tab. Read through to get a good idea of the install procedure. Also it lists the tools you need. This should give you a good idea of which wiring method (see the 'options info' tab) to select and if Ninja Built or DIY is more your style.
Ninja versus Ninja Master Wondering what the difference between Ninja and Ninja Master are? You are currently viewing the Ninja version of this network. A brief explination is below or you can read more in-depth information in our Help Me Choose section.
The Ninja level option is available only for speakers that receive an all new network design by Skiing Ninja™. It is a less expensive option versus the Ninja Master. You can think of it as what the original speaker manufacturer might do as a new release or MkII version. The manufacturer did not create this version but it allows the greatest number of enthusiasts to experience the new design in a more cost-conscious form. The Ninja version still has point-to-point construction, optimized component layout and uses very good capacitors (most often far better than what most manufacturers offer even in updated versions), Mills resistors and Alpha-Core Copper Foil Inductors. Ninja versions are also available as DIY kits.
Ninja Master is our best selling version. This is where it really gets fun. Ninja Master is our top of the line internal network. They are hand built by the Ninja Himself (except for DIY kits). They use only the best components (such as Sonicap capacitors), layout optimization techniques and point to point connections. Ninja Master also affords additional options not available at lower levels (varies by speaker). Ninja Master versions are also available as DIY kits.
