About the Artist
Alta Thuesen-Ries was born in Ft. Collins, Colorado in 1997. She has a Miniature Dachshund, Xander, who was born in 2007. She has been working with animals in art since she was 6. Therapy is a new direction for Alta who discovered she could relate especially well with animals and wanted to help others.
