Ninja Built versus DIY
We offer kits that are professionally built by the Ninja and his minions. This way you know every connection is correct and every component is tested. These are our easiest to install kits.
You will need a Philips Head Screwdriver, 3mm or 1/8" Allen wrench and Hot glue/hot glue gun, super glue or like. You may need other tools depending on your wire connection preference.
If you are adventurous, we offer DIY (Do It Yourself) kits. These kits come with all of the parts of a professionally built kit but you assemble the network yourself. A diagram, photos and schematic are included so you don't have to figure out the layout. The ability to read a basic electronic circuit schematic is not required for a DIY build but it is very helpful!
You will need a soldering iron, heat gun or hair dryer with high setting, needle nose pliers, hot glue gun & glue or Liquid nails and wire cutters. Plus, what is listed above for the install of your built boards.

Upgrade your Cabinet Your speaker cabinet should never 'talk' along with the music. Want to know why this happens and what you can do to stop it? Read all about the benefits of upgrading your speaker cabinet with NoRez and Black Hole 5.
Choose your Wiring Connections We offer three different ways you can install your new crossovers depending on your skill and comfort level.
1. (Ninja recommended) Full wiring replacement with IT-001 Ninja wire. We include extra Vampire or Cardas silver solder to attach the wires to the drivers and binding posts.
2. Wires long enough to tie into the existing wires coming from the drivers and binding posts and copper connectors with color coded shrink tubing. Simply crimp the copper connectors over the wires and heat the shrink tubing for a professional finish.
3. Our easiest solution - wires long enough to reach the existing wires and includes wire nuts. Screw the wire nuts over the connections and you are done. |
